This season the resort has invested in its snowmaking capabilities by adding 28 new snowmaking towers on the Giant Steps Trail and replacing the snowmaking pipe on Phillip’s Run. The Snowsports School at Seven Springs provides a comfortable and fun atmosphere for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Terrain
Thirty-three slopes and trails, a 750 foot maximum vertical drop, which is continuous on three trails in the North Face area, are spread across 285 acres. Five triples, three quads, and a two high-speed six-pack provide most of the uplift; five surface lifts serve the beginner terrain. Nearly all the terrain is lighted at night.  Terrain parks, the East Coast's only Olympic-size halfpipe, and several glades complement more traditional terrain. There's even a special terrain park just for little kids. And of course there's a big tubing operation.

A massive and thoroughly modern snowmaking system cranks out enormous amounts of snow each season, but this part of the state gets a lot of natural snow too. Thanks to this combination and a base elevation of 2,240 feet Seven Springs usually skis and rides for a solid four months.
