The Summit Adventure Park Attendant is responsible for planning, leading, and implementing the daily procedures of the Adventure Park. They must be able to facilitate the Aerial Park, Adventure Tower, Archery Tag, and Laser Tag, as well as other adventure activities. They will be responsible for the general safety of each guest. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The Summit Adventure Park Attendant is responsible for planning, leading, and implementing the daily procedures of the Adventure Park. They must be able to facilitate the Aerial Park, Adventure Tower, Archery Tag, and Laser Tag, as well as other adventure activities. They will be responsible for the general safety of each guest. The attendant will provide high-quality outdoor educational and recreational experiences for participants that focus on the Blue Mountain Adventure Park core values of Safety, Fun, and Learning.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have the physical ability to lead and facilitate park activities which include, but are not limited to, rock climbing, ziplines, ropes courses, archery, laser tag, team building, physical games, and activities.
  • Must have the ability to physically 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to work long hours outdoors, in all weather conditions.
  • Must be at least 16 years old

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Inspecting equipment, courses, activity structures, and terrain.
  • Greeting and outfitting guests with Adventure Park gear and equipment.
  • Facilitating all Adventure Park activities for the guests.
  • Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the park and all program areas. 
  • Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, inspection documentation, and daily attendance. 
  • Ensure that any onsite area is kept clean, organized, and free of litter. 
  • Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the park. 
  • Upon hire, completion of First Aid and CPR certification (cost covered by employer).
  • Upon hire, completion of the 3 required clearances (employer covers cost); Multi-State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting Clearance, and PA Child Abuse Clearance.  

2024 Timeline:

April: Training  
May: Open weekends to the general public, midweek for custom groups/special events  
June – August: Summer operating hours (includes midweek, nighttime, and weekend hours)  
September – October: Open weekends to the general public, midweek for custom groups/special events.
