Winter 24-25 Role - Hiring to begin Early Fall 2024

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Do you enjoy spending time on the mountain in the Winter? Do you have a passion for creating guests for life? We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide a guest with an experience that is beyond their expectations and excited for the opportunity to create guests for life. Lift attendants are responsible for facilitating the daily procedures of lift operations and can implement safe loading and unloading in addition to providing knowledge of trails and terrain to our guests.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time on uneven surfaces and in inclement weather – required.
  • Must be able to move heavy objects (25-30 lbs.).
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
  • Timely and reliable attendance is essential even in inclement weather and must be available to work a flexible workweek, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must be 18 years of age.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Assist all passengers in the safe loading and unloading of the lifts.
  • Provide instruction and superior guest service by interacting and talking to all lift passengers and guests checking their equipment.
  • Slow or stop the lift as necessary to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
  • Maintain load and unload ramps and areas around all lift stations by shoveling and/or raking snow.
  • Ensure all chairs are clear of snow or ice before loading passengers.
  • Identify potential hazards and report them immediately.
  • Be familiar with all policies, procedures, and rules regarding operating and riding a ski lift and ensure that these are followed by staff and guests.
  • Implement emergency procedures, including contacting Ski Patrol.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections and post-operation shutdown procedures.
  • Check all riders have a valid day ticket or season pass before boarding the lift by monitoring the gates.
