WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal Ski Patroller for Bear Creek is a guest service focused individual with the ability to help create a safe, positive, memorable experience for our guests. The successful team member will be able to work with their team as well as individually, have good communication skills, be detail oriented and foster the Bear Creek culture by focusing on our guests and their safety. This position will be an important member of the Ski Patrol team, ensuring a safe environment on the mountain. The right person will be able to assess an emergency, direct others to provide assistance as necessary and deliver emergency medical care to our guests and team members.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Morning and evening snow conditions report compiled from patrol observation
  • Handling all accidents from site to secondary medical care, during winter season and events held outside of winter season
  • Record keeping and assist in accident investigation when required
  • Safety check slopes for fencing, hazardous conditions and bare spots, correct if needed
  • Safety check lifts and report any problems to lift maintenance
  • Perform chairlift evacuations if necessary
  • Monitor and enforce safe skiing and snowboarding for all guests
  • Safely perform all job duties and responsibilities
