Title: Director of Snow Sports                                                 

Department: Snow Sports

Reports to: Vice President of Recreation

In alignment with the resort’s vision and mission and organizational values and under the direction of the Vice President of Recreation, the Director of Snow Sports will directly oversee the operations of the Snow Sports team.  They will assist with the development of budgetary goals, inventory management, department staffing and team growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Recruit and retain top talent for the overall resort.
• Facilitate a culture of safety for associates and guests.
• Accountability for budgetary goals of revenues, labor, operational expenses
• Direct oversight and accountability for all necessary clearances for all team members
• Contribute to departmental growth through operational efficiencies, new programming.
• Responsible for Flaik utilization and team scheduling
• Maximization of daily lessons sales and inventory
• Responsible for lesson quality to achieve 90% or above in Guest Satisfaction
• Responsible for daily operations of SnowSports team
• Provide support for staff development.

Next Level Duties:

• Complying with all Company and departmental safety standards.
• Complying with Company and departmental dress code.
• Adhering to the Customer Service Standards of Camelback Resort as well as all Company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Adhering to seasonal and daily Service Guidelines and Checklists.
• Communicating effectively with all members of the Camelback Resort team.
• Participating in the business planning process for the departments and the resort.
• Actively supporting all Company initiatives.
• Liaison and partnership with PSIA/AASI
• Ensure training for team members is continued and monitored.
